Shipping Container Purchase
Some of the things to consider when purchasing a storage container, or shipping container are:
- What size container do I need to store my goods?
- Do I need to have an insulated container?
- Do I need electrics in my container?
- What container can I fit on my site?
- Is there adequate access and space on my site for a container?
- Do I have a suitable base for the container to sit on?
- Am I better off to have a couple of smaller containers rather than one large container?
If you have any other questions that you would like to ask our team will be able to advise you, and help you on your way to purchase your perfect steel container.
How is the container delivered?
Our containers are all delivered using hiab crane vehicles so that they can be expertly situated on your site, so that you don’t have to worry about unloading it yourself. If you have the facility to offload a container at your site, we can arrange for one of our non-crane vehicles to deliver it. Delivery without a crane vehicle is cheaper, and often quicker to arrange.
Can I collect my shipping container?
We are more than happy for you to collect you own container, and we ask that you provide the details of the vehicle collecting the container, and that the trailer will be adequate to load it. Once you have provided these details we will give your haulier a release reference, and the unique number of your container.
How much does delivery of a shipping container cost?
This differs depending on a number of factors. If your site is a long distance from one of our storage depots you can expect the price to be slightly higher, also the access to the site may be a factor. The main differences in price however are down to the size of your container, and 40’ containers require an articulated lorry, and therefore can be substantially more expensive.
How do I pay for a container?
If you are looking to purchase a lot of steel containers, either for resale, or you wish to start a self-storage company; you may wish to set up an account with Willbox so that you can obtain a credit limit and pay our invoices with a 30 day credit term. Alternatively, ii you only require a single container, you can pay prior to delivery in a number of ways. Willbox can accept payment by Cash, Cheque, BACs, Credit Card (not including American Express), and PayPal. Once Willbox has cleared funds the container will be delivered to your premises.
