Construction of the world's largest offshore wind farm is under way more than 130km off the Yorkshire coast. Dogger Bank Wind Farm will be capable of powering 6 million British homes via subsea export cables connected to the National Grid.

Storage for key equipment and suppliesWillbox is working with specialist high voltage electrical engineering company Powersystems. They are experts in electrical infrastructure for wind farms, having connected 27% across the UK.

With valuable electrical equipment and cabling on site, Powersystems needed a secure storage solution.“We have worked with Lee for several years and he quickly came up with the right containers for our requirements,” says Jonathan Stock from Powersystems. “Willbox terms were flexible and the 20ft secure storage container will be on site on a long hire.

It is just what we need.”Additional ‘Groundhog' Unit Willbox will also be delivering a 12ft towable welfare unit providing contractors with warm drinks, toilet facilities and drying rooms, supported by a generator.
