Hire & Sales Executive

Job Summary

Willbox is looking for a driven and customer-focused Hire & Sales Executive to manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to completed order across both container sales and hire. You’ll be responsible for generating and converting sales opportunities, preparing quotations, building customer relationships, coordinating deliveries and collections, and ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout the sales journey.

As one of the leading UK Shipping Container suppliers Willbox Ltd are looking for a new team member to join our growing Accounts division.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

Manage inbound hire and sales enquiries.
Prepare quotations and proactively follow up opportunities.
Convert enquiries into profitable sales and hire agreements.
Build long-term customer relationships and generate repeat business.
Coordinate deliveries and collections with customers and hauliers.
Maintain accurate CRM records and sales documentation.
Support stock management, procurement and business development activities.

Experience:

Previous experience in sales, customer service, account management or a similar commercial role.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Customer-focused, proactive and target-driven.
Confident building relationships and closing sales opportunities.

Negotiation: Ability to balance customer needs with company profitability and close deals effectively
Communication: Clear and professional written and verbal communication, active listening, and rapport building
Adaptability: Responsive to customer feedback and able to adjust sales approach in a changing market
Confidence & Resilience: Comfortable handling objections and rejection, while staying motivated and persistent
Time Management: Skilled in managing multiple clients and tasks across various stages of the sales cycle
Relationship Management: Committed to building long-term customer relationships, not just quick wins
Problem-Solving: Able to troubleshoot client issues proactively and follow up to maintain trust
