Our conversion team is growing from strength to strength. We have recently added another CAD designer to our office team and a handful of additional fabricators to the workshop team to ensure that we can meet our increasing demand for shipping container modifications and conversions.
As part of this growing team, James Dale has taken a step up from Conversions Manager to Head of Conversions. His new responsibilities include creating the strategy for the whole Conversions department, looking into new opportunities and future developments, supply chain management and product development and portfolio. He is also going to be accountable for keeping track of the customer journey through the business and after-sales management.
James has also been working towards an MBA Degree, which he graduated with in July 2023. By nurturing a positive work culture, empowering team members, and embracing challenges, he not only achieved professional growth but also positively influenced the lives of those around him.
“My new role allows me to develop a broad strategy for the conversions business looking at product development, supply chains and operations processes to allow growth. I really enjoy networking with various trade associations, suppliers and customers and my new role helps me to progress our reach within the industry. This brings new challenges which I look forward to embracing and driving a positive culture and experience for my colleagues and customers alike.”
Along with James, Ashleigh Wilkins has been growing in her role and taking on more responsibility across the container conversions projects. Not only has she excelled as a Conversions Design Assistant, but improvements she’s made across the wider team have earned her a promotion to a Container Conversions Supervisor who will now supervise day-to-day operations and project management.
With great people and leadership skills, she will play an integral part in the work scheduling and recruitment process. She will take over design management and make sure that customer expectations are exceeded by that department. Ashleigh will also take control of the job costings and stock control.
“I am excited to see where my new role takes me and am looking forward to developing my skills further within the business. I will be spending time in the near future ironing out the process of the department to ensure we are running as smoothly as possible and giving the customer the best experience when working with us. I am looking forward to the new challenges this role may bring.”
We are very proud of James and Ashleigh’s achievements and their willingness to self-develop and deliver the best results for our customers. We are really looking forward to seeing their future success and the new accomplishments that they will reach.
