We are delighted to congratulate our colleague Leon Clarke, who reaches a silver milestone on 28 March, having worked for Willbox and its parent company, Williams Shipping, for 25 years.

Highly experienced

Leon started work in a Williams Shipping warehouse back in 1996, when a friend recommended the company to him as a good employer. Originally dealing with the storage of marine lubricant oil, he moved to driving lorries after the company helped him gain his HGV licence.

A quick learner, Leon soon passed his HIAB qualification for lorry loaders and cranes, and for many years worked for Williams Shipping Transport delivering containers and doing other crane work. When Willbox was established we were lucky enough to persuade Leon to work for us, and he has been part of our delivery and installation team ever since.

Working at Willbox

Leon is based in Nursling and now travels all over the country making deliveries, transporting and installing containers or cabins for Willbox – anywhere he can reach and return from in a day. He is a trusted and experienced member of the team and we always know we can trust his judgment, especially on tricky jobs.

Working for Willbox has involved Leon in some interesting projects, including an installation for a Solent University art exhibition in the Guildhall, Southampton that required him to create an arch out of two 10ft containers topped off by a 40ft container!
