We were pleasantly surprised by R&S magazine, the BAR association magazine, contacting us. Tom Williams, our Sales Manager, was chosen to be our representative for the interview. 

Although we only finalised our membership to the BAR association in 2022, we are well recognised among the shipping container industry and a member of the BAR association in 2022, we are getting easily recognised among shipping containers business and we have made excellent connections amongst removers and storers. Becoming a member was the perfect opportunity to strengthen our containerised storage service. We knew that in this way we would increase our knowledge of the industry and we could flourish even more.

Revising our conversation with R&S magazine, we reminded ourselves that the uniqueness of our business sets us apart in a competitive market. Tom shared that our plans for 2023 include our conversions team building more second-storey, also known as “topper” containers on our sites. We are trying to grow and find convenient solutions for our customers because their customer feedback is the most important thing at the end of the day! Our team is always trying to plan ahead in order to overcome any challenges, however, the economic crisis that is coming in 2023 will challenge us and will affect the volume of imports into the UK. 

One question from the R&S really made us think about the changes in the self-storage industry in 2023. Because the industry is evolving and improving constantly, we believe that more businesses will change from indoor warehouse storage to hybrid setups with containers. We have already started to notice that there is a high demand in hybrid setups.
